Who are tripleS?
tripleS (트리플에스) is a 24-member girl group from the Korean company MODHAUS. The name stands for Social Sonyo Seoul, “social girls living in Seoul”. They call themselves the first decentralized K-pop group: fans take part in real decisions through the COSMO app.
Revealed one by one
The members were revealed one at a time over two years: S1 SeoYeon first on 1 May 2022, the date the group counts as its anniversary, and S24 JiYeon last in April 2024. That's why every member has an S-number that never changes.
- Acid Angel from Asia, four of the first eight members, debuted as the first unit on 28 October 2022.
- OT10, the first ten together, debuted with ASSEMBLE on 13 February 2023.
- OT24, all 24 at last, debuted with ASSEMBLE24 on 8 May 2024; ASSEMBLE25 followed on 12 May 2025.
WAV
Fans of tripleS are called WAV, and the official lightstick is the heartS. Someone who has just started following them is a New WAV, so welcome!
Seasons
tripleS runs in seasons of about six months, named in alphabetical order: Atom, Binary, Cream, Divine, Ever. After Ever the alphabet started over, so Atom02 is the second Atom. Each season brings new objekts (chapter 4), and once it ends its objekts can't be bought in the app any more.
Many groups in one
The 24 don't always perform together. Members are mixed into smaller units called dimensions that change from season to season, and fans help choose them. Chapter 3 explains how.
