WAVbase is a fan project run by volunteers, not affiliated with MODHAUS or COSMO. This page says what we store about you, why, and for how long.

What's public anyway

Objekts, transfers, spins and Gravity votes are recorded on the Abstract blockchain, where anyone can read them. WAVbase reads them and shows them by COSMO nickname; nobody needs an account for that, and closing an account doesn't hide a wallet.

Verified owners can hide their collection value and their activity from others on WAVbase, and choose whether each COSMO account is shown as theirs.

What we store when you sign in

  • From Discord: your Discord user id, name and picture. We only ask Discord for “identify”: no email, servers or messages.
  • What you add: your display name, X handle, your member, and the COSMO accounts you verify (COSMO user id, nickname, wallet address).
  • What you do here: listings, offers, trades and their chats, ratings, reports, comments, friends, follows, gifts, group orders, game scores and notifications.
  • When you sign in: that you agreed to the Terms and this page, which version, and when.

Who can see what

  • Everyone: your display name and picture, team title, verified COSMO accounts (except ones you set to Friends or Hidden), listings, ratings, comments you left and game boards.
  • The two people in a trade: its offers and chat. The team (moderators and admins) can open trade rooms to sort out problems; opening one that nobody reported is logged.
  • Only you: your notifications, follows and messages to the team.
  • We never ask for addresses or payment details. If you share them, do it in a direct message, at your own choice.

How long we keep it

  • Trade and group-order chats: deleted 15 days after the trade or order ends.
  • Ratings, completed sales (the price only) and moderation records stay, because they protect other traders.
  • Everything else stays until you close your account.

Closing your account

Account → Close my account. Your name, picture, X handle and Discord sign-in data are removed, your COSMO accounts unlinked, listings closed and open trades cancelled. Ratings and finished trades stay, shown as “Deleted user”. Bans stay with the COSMO account.

Cookies and your browser

One sign-in cookie, plus your language and theme. A few choices (recent searches, “serial on card”, notices you closed) stay in your browser only. No ads, no trackers, and we never sell data. The “online now” count in the menu only asks each open tab for a random number about once a minute; it isn't linked to you or your account. If you have a verified COSMO account, the same check also shows “● Online” on your marketplace profile while you're on the site (last 5 minutes); switch it off on the Account page (“Show when I'm online”). If you turn on browser notifications, we keep your browser's push address (from its push service) to send them; turn them off on the Account page.

Where it's stored

The database runs on Supabase in Frankfurt (EU); the website on Vercel. Objekt pictures load from COSMO's servers; drop names and Motion videos come from apollo.cafe.
